My mother: What a woman! Words can't describe how much I love her...
Vocally:Liza Minelli, Dolly Parton,The Dixie Chicks, Celine Dion: ignore the cheese-factor, can anyone say voice control? ELVIS, Meatloaf, Kiss, and many other amazing singers I've been fortunate enough to work with over the years...
Musically:Stephen Sondheim, Jim Steinman, Mozart, Michel Legrand, and many other musical geniuses.
Life: My friends. Amazing people, all beautiful and generous and talented, who somehow manage to love me warts, flaws and all and make every day of my life worth living. You make me feel truly blessed!
Sounds Like
I personally think I just sound like myself, but you be the judge of that...
Hi! I'm a Swedish singer based in London.
Vocally I'm mainly musical theatre but I love singing anything from rock to folk to lighter classical stuff.
I fell in love with musical theatre when , at the age of 4, my grandfather took me to see "Kiss me Kate" in Sweden. After that I spent days walking round my day-care centre belting "-OH, IIII HATE MEN!" My first posterboys on my bedroom wall however were Mozart and Kiss.
I moved to London at 21 and after a few years I was fortunate enough to work in the West End as "Esmeralda" in Notre Dame de Paris and to my mothers horror when she saw me, I was raped in a cage by an angry priest in blue eyeshadow and subsequently hung. Since then I've done gigs in France,Sweden, Hungary and sailed the high seas with P&O Cruises.
I have just come back from the Marriott Hotel in Budapest where I always love to perform and this time I got to dust off the old Sally Bowles costume and do a selection from "Cabaret". My thanks to everyone involved.
I love to meet other artists and songwriters from all over the world so please feel free to message me if you want to collaborate on any project!
Thanks for checking out my little site!/ Camilla :)

exclusive new track "REQUIEM FOR A SOLDIER" - FROM THE NEW ALBUM "SORRENTO" A touching slideshow and tribute to the brave soldiers around the world who risk and give their lives. FREEDOM ISN'T FREE. Best wishes, BRUCE. www. bruceanderson-thesinger. co. uk
Witches flying past on broomsticks, Black cats leaping here and there, White-robed spooks on every corner, Mournful moaning in the air, Goblins peering out of windows, Spirit-things that rap and run- But don't be scared-it's just October,
I could feel his soul in the bittersweet notes his heart poured into his hands the love he lavished on that bow his head flung back, and then he caressed that thing with a lover's touch he swayed in a dreamer's trance he stroked that bow with his head bowed low he gave us sheer romance our pulses throbbed with his every move our blood ran in slow sweet flames lord how can it be, that my soul can flee to a man with a violin if I chance to go to a million symphonies searching for that man among men I don't know his name just a kinship flame to a man with a violin I will know him when my soul takes wings and I hear him touch that bow when my blood is aflame and I hear that twang that entwines our heart and soul
That's cool. Good luck! We're fine as well, working in studio and bringing the new songs to London next week, playing two shows. Hope to see you there? :)
A Friend is a Treasure A friend is someone we turn to, when our spirits need a lift. A friend is someone we treasure, for our friendship is a gift. A friend is someone who fills our lives, with beauty, joy and grace. And make the world we live in, a better and happier place.
